The Sinu-Test Bacterial Assay will be used at the point-of-care (POC), physician's office, clinic or hospital, on patients that present with symptoms of sinusitis. The kit will qualitatively identify three pathogenic bacteria
(Haemophilus influenzae,
Moraxella catarrhalis &
Streptococcus pneumoniae)
that commonly cause bacterial sinusitis, otitis media and other upper respiratory infections.
